Linnea Berg - Nieghbor By Neighbor

June 17 (11am-1pm): Founders' Day Brunch

Please join Neighbor by Neighbor, and hosts Kirk Amptmeyer & Gary Allen at Prairie Wood Place for a festive brunch honoring Linnea Berg, Reverend Paula Durren, The Pokagon Fund and the Episcopal Church of the Mediator. These Founders of Neighbor by Neighbor have worked tirelessly over the last six years to help Neighbor by Neighbor grow and become the organization it is today helping over 1,000 neighbors in need here in Harbor Country.

We are seeing increased needs daily, as the price of goods and inflation have been a huge burden on our clients. We have new clients coming in and saying “I have never had to ask for help before.” We have senior clients on a fixed income, with no ability to pay sky-rocketing utility bills. We even have clients going without basic need items such as toilet paper, as it is not in their budget. Compounding these issues, government emergency food assistance is going to decrease this month by as much as 75% for some of our clients, and rent has increased 11% across the state.

To continue to meet the needs of our neighbors, our goal is to raise funds to help provide resources to local families in need. Can you provide for our neighbors by getting involved?

There are many ways that you can get involved. You can purchase a ticket for this event, become a sponsor for this event (select event sponsor on the donation form) or an upcoming fundraiser this year, make a donation, or you can volunteer your time! NOTE: Sponsorships must be confirmed by May 31, 2023 in order to be included in printed materials.

Tickets can be purchased HERE through Eventbrite.

We need all of these things in order to provide assistance for all of the neighbors who need us here in Harbor Country. To learn more about what we do, please visit our website.
